Simple to make, and ready in less than 10 minutes, this fun Mummy Munch is a Halloween Chex Mix that is sure to be a hit with everybody!
We are days from Halloween, and I'm ready! I don't know about you, but I'm ready to pull down all the bats, spiders, and pumpkins. I'm ready for red and green, colorful lights, shiny ornaments, and neatly placed presents under the tree.
Too soon? This girl enjoys Halloween, but as soon as it's over, as it's November 1st, I am ready for Christmas decorations!
We sort of skip Thanksgiving decor here, because I really enjoy the feeling that the glow that the Christmas tree gives. It reminds me of happiness and family. That's the feeling I'm going for.
Since we are still days from Halloween though, I figured I'd better crank out my last spooky creation. I've been making some form of this crunch/munch every year since Kelsie was in pre-k.
I would always send a big batch into school with her for Halloween and Christmas parties. The teachers always raved about it. 🙂 It's too simple not to buy the stuff right now, and make a big bowl!
You can munch on it yourself, or send it with your kids to school! I think I'm gonna send in some tonight to Kelsie's dance teacher, and I know that her best friend's mom is going to get some today as well.
With this Mummy Munch, I used two different types of sprinkles, because I'll be honest with y'all...We made some of this stuff weeks ago. The plan was to get it up sooner than this, but we ate it all up before I had a chance to take any pictures.
A few days ago I had a free day, and I knew that I had to make this stuff and get it up before Halloween! I used to add candy corn, but have yet to find one that is corn syrup free. :-/ If you happen to know of a brand, drop me a comment and let me know!
Like I mentioned I've been making some form of this every holiday for years - check out Cupid Crunch for Valentine's Day, and Easter Bunny Crunch. Super versatile, and you can change things up for your family's liking.

I'm making some right now to post for a TV segment next week. I do a lot of munchies like this, or with popcorn. Love adding things for color like sprinkles & melting chocolate. Putting Bugles in some for witches hats.
