This is one recipe that my family loves! There aren't ever any complaints when I say that I'm making pasta salad to go with dinner.
And I make it often. It's one recipe that I always have the ingredients for in my pantry.

- dill pickles, any work, but i buy the baby dills

- parmesan cheese
- ranch dressing

Ingredient Substitutions/Swaps
Pasta: you can use any shaped pasta on hand, and make this gluten free by using a gluten free pasta.
Dill Pickles: using baby dills will be the quickest pick here, but any dill pickle will do. i also like the idea of using these spicy baby dills for a nice kick.Cheese: use your favorite cheese. it doesn't even need to be shredded. you can slice thick slices of cheddar and cube it, if you'd like.

How long will pasta salad last in the refrigerator? It will last two to three days, when stored in an airtight container.
How long does pasta salad last outside of the refrigerator? No longer than two hours.
Can I make pasta salad in advance? This is a great dish to make the day ahead. You can toss everything together and store in an airtight container. When ready to serve, give it a good stir.
Easy Creamy Dill Pickle Pasta Salad - No Mayo
This Easy Creamy Dill Pickle Pasta Salad without Mayonnaise is a crowd favorite! It's perfect for a cook out, game day or a quick weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 12 ounces pasta, cooked according to the directions on the box, drained and cooled
- 1 pound thick cut bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, cut in half
- ½ cup red onion, diced
- 16 ounce jar baby dill pickles, sliced
- 1 ½ cups Italian blend cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1 ½ cups ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice
Instructions
- In a large measuring cup, measure out the dressing and add the pickle juice. Stir to combine.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cooked and chopped bacon, sliced tomatoes, diced onion, sliced pickles, both shredded cheeses, and the dressing pickle juice mix. Toss to combine.
- Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes before serving.
