Apple Pie Granola

Enjoy all the flavors of apple pie in this easy to make Apple Pie Granola! 

Ingredients

  • 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup Planter's mixed nuts or any nuts you like
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Bare Fruit Apple Chips broken into smaller pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. In a large bowl combine the oats, nuts, apple chips, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside. In a small bowl whisk together the oil, apple sauce, and maple syrup. Pour this over your oat mixture, and stir to coat everything evenly.

  3. Pour onto the lined baking sheet, make sure to create a flat surface. You don't want anything on top of each other. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. 

  4. Remove from the oven, and allow to completely cool. Toss in the apple chips, and store in an air tight container for up to 3 weeks.
