Ingredients

  • 8 ounces rotini pasta, cooked according the directions on the box, and drained
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons steak seasoning
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon vinegar use any you have - I've used regular, rice, apple cider, etc.
  • 1 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pan over medium to high heat. Pour in the canola oil.

  2. Add the ground beef, onion, steak seasoning, and brown sugar. Cook until the ground beef is no longer pink.

  3. Stir in the tomato paste, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar. Turn the heat down to low and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Pour in the cooked and drained pasta. Stir to coat the pasta, and mix everything together.

  4. Turn the heat off, top with the cheese, and place a lid on it for 5 minutes. This will allow the cheese to melt. Serve hot!
