Spicy Asian Green Beans is flavor packed healthy option that is an excellent side dish. It takes less than 10 minutes and you'll love how simple it is.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces green beans fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Mix together, water, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and sugar together. Set aside.
  2. Heat a 10-inch pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil.
  3. Saute garlic for one minute.
  4. Stir in the green beans to coat in the oil and garlic.
  5. Cook for 3 minutes if fresh, and 5 to 6 if frozen.
  6. Pour in the sauce and cook until thickened to your liking.
  7. Remove from heat and enjoy!
