Mini Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins

Packed with pumpkin and chocolate chips, these Mini Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins are simple to make, and a great way to enjoy the flavors of fall!

  • 1 and 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar I used dark
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree - not the pie filling
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips I used regular size


  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a mini muffin tin, or line it with mini muffin cups.
  2. Mix together the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl, set aside.
  3. In another bowl whisk together the butter and brown sugar.
  4. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla.
  5. Finally stir in the milk.
  6. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, and stir until just combined. (you don't want to overmix)
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips, and place 1 heaping tablespoon full of batter into the prepared muffin tin.
  8. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before removing. from the pan.
