French Onion Chicken and Rice Bake

French Onion Chicken and Rice Bake is made with simple shortcuts to have dinner on the table in no time.

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon minced dried onions
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • pinch garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 packages Uncle Ben's Ready Rice Jasmine
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 carton/can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag/container French fried onions


  1. Mix together the first 6 ingredients in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9X13 inch baking dish with cooking spray; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl: rice, sour cream mixture, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, shredded cheese, and chicken. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour into the prepared baking dish, and top with the French fried onions.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Serve hot!
