Two 4X6  Free Printable Thanksgiving Recipe Cards, for your festive Thanksgiving recipes!

Free 4X6 Thanksgiving Recipe Card Printables

I have this old recipe box that belonged to my mother when I was growing up. I have no idea where she got it, and it’s not pretty at all, but inside were lots of recipes torn from magazines, folded and typed recipes from friends, and hand written recipe cards in her hand writing.  Now that she is gone I cherish those that were written by her the most.

I realize that with technology today we are printing recipes off left and right from the internet, and there is nothing wrong with that, I do it myself, all the time. However, there is something about looking at a recipe that your mother (or other family member) used to make, written in their hand writing that pulls at the heart strings.  They are cherished memories, that bring back so many warm feelings from holiday dinners to a quick candy recipe that was made only on special occasions, to that recipe for the dinner that was made once a week. I want my girls to have those kind of memories. I’m not very fond of the thought of them pulling out a printed recipe that I stuck in a binder. I want them to look back and be reminded of my handwriting, and a recipe that I made that they loved.

I created two different Thanksgiving themed recipe cards that you can easily print out, and write your favorite holiday recipe, ready to pass down or gift to others. These were created for 4X6 inch index cards.  I suggest using 4X6 blank index cards that you can pick up from any place that sales office supplies.  Place them into the slot in your printer where you would place photo paper (check your own printer settings, as they are all different), open the PDF, and make sure to select landscape, and 4X6, and the location of where your printer will be pulling your index cards from. If you have any problems, although I’m not that techy anymore, leave a comment, and I will try and help you troubleshoot.

Excellent printables! My Thanksgiving recipes are all stained with food from years past, so it’s time for a reset.
