While the pasta is cooking you'll prepare the chicken and get the delicious garlic cream sauce ready. By the time the pasta is done, you'll be ready to toss it in the sauce with your chicken, spinach and tomatoes and call it done!
Ingredients in Chicken & Bacon Pasta with Spinach and Tomatoes:
- olive oil
- boneless skinless chicken breasts
- paprika
- Italian seasoning
- tomatoes
- fresh spinach
- garlic
- red pepper flakes
- cooked bacon
- heavy whipping cream
- Parmesan cheese
- penne pasta
How you do you make Chicken & Bacon Pasta?
- In a large skillet, on high heat, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil until hot. Season the uncooked chicken with paprika, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Cook chicken through, flipping once. Cooking to an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Remove the chicken from the pan and keep warm.
- Start cooking your pasta, according to the directions.
- To the pan that you cooked the chicken in, saute the garlic for two minutes and then add the heavy whipping cream, and place the heat on medium. Scrape any bits remaining from the chicken.
- Once the heavy whipping cream is simmering, add the parmesan cheese, and whisk until melted.
- Slice the chicken into strips.
- Drain the pasta once cooked, and toss into the sauce. Add the tomatoes and spinach, stir to combine. Top with chicken, chopped cooked bacon and additional parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
What to serve with chicken bacon pasta?
Salad or garlic bread are both excellent choices.
How to store chicken and bacon pasta?
This dish will store in the fridge in an air tight container for up to 4 days. You can reheat this dish by placing it covered in a casserole dish in the oven on 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
I do not recommend freezing this dish.

- 1 lb chicken boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 4 tomatoes, chopped largely
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 6 bacon strips, cooked and fat drained, and chopped
- 1 ⅓ cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 ⅓ cups Parmesan cheese , shredded
- 10 ounces penne pasta
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese , shredded, for serving (optional)
