What I really love the best about this Cadbury Mini Egg dip is that you can make it in less than 5 minutes, if you already have your butter and cream cheese at room temperature.
Use this trick for softening butter:
Place a tall glass in your sink, and run the water as hot as it will go, heating your glass up. Once your glass is hot, dry it off, and stand the wrapped stick of butter on it's end, and place the glass over the top of it. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes.
While your butter is softening, move on to the next tip...
How to soften cream cheese quickly:
Place a metal bowl in the sink, run hot water, as hot as it will go. Allow the bowl to heat up. Dry it and attach it to your stand mixer. Then pop that cold cream cheese in the stand mixer, turn it on medium, and let it get creamy.
If you're anything like me, you have a recipe and you go to the grocery store, buy the ingredients, and plan to make it.
However, you forget that it calls for room temperature butter or cream cheese, or whatever and then you have to wait.
But, I've used those same tips for a ton of recipes, and they always turn out.
Do you have any tips or tricks that can help speed up prep or bake time?
I am always about making everything in the kitchen easier and quicker for me.
