Seasoned Goldfish Crackers are ranch seasoned, with dill, and lemon pepper making these two Goldfish crackers perfectly snackable! You'll want to double the batch, as these will swim from the bowl fast!
Kelsie and I love to watch cooking shows on television. I think it started to become a habit because when she was just a baby, I would rock her and watch Emeril Lagasse.
At the time “BAM” was his favorite thing to say, and as Kelsie got older, it was one of hers as well. She would get her little pots and pans out, and my empty seasoning containers, and shake them, and shout “BAM”, in her tiny little voice. She doesn’t remember it, but we do.
Anyway, our love for cooking shows has grown immensely throughout the years. We watch several of the shows that are geared towards children, and those that are competitions, I think are our favorite.
As a matter of fact, we have our own Chopped competitions in the kitchen from time to time. I’ve been meaning to share some of those creations, but I get so caught up in the fun that I forget until it’s all said and done.
When it’s time for dinner, or any meal for that matter, Kelsie is usually my right hand, my sous chef! She peels whatever I need, and most recently has begun chopping vegetables.
However, the two recipes that I’m sharing with y’all today won’t need any chopping or sharp objects, and your kids can help with everything but the end. (unless they are older and you are ok with them using the oven)
I love having her in the kitchen because not only are we spending some quality time together, she doesn’t realize she is learning valuable skills, such as math, all the while having fun.
I recently shared my recipe for Simple Seasoned Party Pretzels and that is where the idea for these recipes came from. I ask Kelsie what kind of recipe we could make with Goldfish® crackers, and she said “your seasoned party pretzels would be delicious using Goldfish crackers!”. We went to Walmart and grabbed the bulk cartons for a Goldfish cracker Mix, which includes the Flavor Blasted® XTra Cheddar and (Exclusive) Pretzel, as well as the Made with Whole Grain Cheddar .
Kelsie wanted a little extra cheesy flavor, and I wanted the whole grain goodness. Of course you can choose any flavors that your family loves.
