It's winter and everyone is looking for the perfect recipe after a day in the cold. I have picked 12 Amazing Soups - Stews - Chilis that will be the perfect bowl to warm up to!
Here we are in January, and while most of the country got a bit of snow last week, here in Florida we didn't see anything but wonderful cold temperatures. Winter is my favorite season of the year, and when it comes to dinner nothing beats a warm bowl of soup, stew, or chili. Of course since I live in Florida, I can't be too picky when it comes to enjoying these three, normally winter foods. If I did, I would never get to try more than a couple a year. That just won't work, because I have to eat our family recipe for Old Fashioned Vegetable Soup and The Best Chili Recipe Ever at least twice a year. Plus, I like to try out new recipes as well. So we eat these warming recipes year round. Yep, even when it's 98 in July!
Since we did have two days of winter here in Florida, it put me in the mood to enjoy a nice warm bowl of something. I wasn't sure what because I've pinned at least a hundred different recipes for the winter. I ask my fellow foodie friends to share with me their recipes for soups, stews, and chilis; here's what I picked from their choices! My foodie friends never disappoint when it comes to recipes, and if you try one out, come back and tell us how it was! We all love hearing how our recipes turned out for others.
