It's that time of year again where kids everywhere are getting ready to head back to school. Let's make it a little bit easier in the mornings with these 11 Make Ahead Back to School Breakfast Recipes!
It's August, and I've started seeing meet the teacher and first day pictures in my news feed all across social media. Kids and parents alike are getting ready to head back to school, whether they are ready or not.
I'll admit I have mixed feelings. This is Kayla's senior year, and then she will be heading to college. < --- This is still hard for me to comprehend! This will be our second year homeschooling Kelsie. We started last year as a temporary thing, but immediately fell in love and made the choice to stick with it instead of traditional school. It's her first year of middle school! 6th grade, and I can't believe it. It really seems like only yesterday that Kelsie was a toddler and Kayla was in elementary school. Time really does pass by so quickly the older I have gotten.
Kayla starts school next week, but Kelsie and I aren't starting back until September 6th. Even though we are homeschooling, we stay busy! To say that homeschooled children lack social interaction is a joke! We have co-op on Monday, dance on Wednesday and Thursday, and then Friday's are field trip days with our home school group. Kelsie gets far more social interaction homeschooling then she ever did in public school. We thoroughly enjoy it.
As you can see even though we homeschool we stay busy. So these 11 make ahead back to school breakfasts are essential to keeping our schedules on point. I can make any of these recipes ahead of time and keep them in the fridge or the muffins on the counter, and grab and go, or heat something real quick and eat breakfast either in the car on the way to co-op or while we start our day.
