M&M’s Boo-tterscotch Pecan Monkey Bread is sticky and sweet, and makes the perfect holiday treat!
It’s finally September! The first couple of days of September we pulled all of our fall decorations out of the closet, and decked the house out in leaves and pumpkins. And then several days later (last weekend) we decided that it was time to decorate for Halloween! Kelsie placed the bats on the wall, the creepy signs on the tabletops, and the spiders and webs all around. Halloween is just a fun holiday! There are so many different elements from fun and creepy to down right scary. We like to stay somewhere around fun and creepy.
While Kelsie was decorating, I was in the kitchen baking up this delicious M&M’s Boo-tterscotch Pecan Monkey Bread. It’s sweet, sticky, and the perfect treat for the holiday season. This monkey bread is the easiest ever to make; requiring 6 ingredients and 40 minutes bake time, you can have this out of the oven, and enjoying it while watching your favorite scary movie!
I grabbed all of the ingredients while I was at Target Friday night. Keep in mind that the M&M’s Boo-tterscotch is exclusive to Target. I also grabbed a few other tasty bags of candy, because I’ve been wanting to make some fun holiday candy jars. I grabbed Dove Milk Chocolate Ghosts (also exclusive to Target) and Starburst Halloween Mix, because I love candy that actually reminds me of the holiday that we are celebrating. You can pick up all of this up in the Halloween section at your Target! Do you have the Target Cartwheel app? I do, and use it every time I walk in the store….there is an offer for Mars candy right now! Add it to your cart here.
So let me show you how easy this M&M’s Boo-tterscotch Pecan Monkey Bread is to make! Gather you’re ingredients: cooking spray, 2 cans of crescent roll dough, 1/4 cup chopped pecans, 1/4 cup butterscotch chips, 1/4 cup M&M’s Boo-tterscotch, 1 and 1/2 sticks of butter, and 1 cup brown sugar.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray, and set it aside. Roll you’re crescent rolls out just like the directions tell ya!
Slice each crescent roll into fourths.
Place the crescent roll pieces into the prepared bundt pan. Sprinkle half of your pecans, butterscotch chips, and M&M’s Boo-tterscotch on top. Melt your butter, mix in the brown sugar, and pour all over the top of that.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown on the top, and cooked through. Sprinkle the remaining butterscotch chips, pecans, and M&M’s Boo-tterscotch on top. Allow to cool for 10 whole minutes before removing from the pan. Serve warm.
So now let’s make these fun/simple Halloween candy jars! I placed them on a cake stand, spread some spiders and webs around. And Kelsie picked out a couple of fun things from the dollar spot at Target.
Grab your candy!
Tie tulle around the tops and Place candy in jars!
